  11. Address Master (herein referred to as Amaster) is a software
  12. package born out of necessity for a flexible, easy to use
  13. address database that easily creates files for merging in
  14. WordPerfect (herein referred to as WP). Amaster has grown
  15. from this initial goal and now includes the following
  16. features:
  17.  
  18.      **   Information may be displayed in ascending order by
  19.           first name, last name, company, group number
  20.           (discussed later), or birthdate (birthdate display
  21.           also calculates age).
  22.  
  23.      **   Information that can be entered for each record
  24.           includes: First name, last name, company, address,
  25.           home-work-fax numbers, birthdate (year may be
  26.           omitted), anniversary, 2 group numbers, group
  27.           descriptions, and notes (up to 8 lines worth may be
  28.           entered).

  30.      **   The database may be broken down into smaller
  31.           versions based on groups (ie family, friends,
  32.           clients, club members, etc). Up to 1100 groups may
  33.           be defined. Database records may also be
  34.           individually "tagged" for later printing or
  35.           merging.

  37.      **   Built in Auto-Dialer (registered version only -
  38.           must have a Hayes compatible modem)- acts as a
  39.           hands free dialer that can call the home, work, or
  40.           fax number listed for a record. It also has a hold
  41.           feature that will allow you to hear the person on
  42.           the other end without them hearing you.

  44.      **   Creates a secondary merge file for use within
  45.           Wordperfect (versions 4.2 - 5.1). Records may be
  46.           specified by group or by selecting individual
  47.           records. Includes 2 sample templates (primary
  48.           files).

  50.      **   Many built in printing options including: reports,
  51.           phone lists, mailing labels, shipping labels,
  52.           return address labels, etc... These may be
  53.           printed for individual records, groups, selected
  54.           records, or the entire database.
  55.  
  56.      **   Very easy to use interface. Scrollable tables and
  57.           pop-up windows make menu traversal a snap.
  58.  
  59.      **   Registered version allows you to specify: user's
  60.           name, modem port, modem volume, telephone area code
  61.           (used to determine which calls are long-distance
  62.           and require a 1 prefix), and default merging
  63.           path/filename.

  65.      **   Future release to include: Dbase II/III
  66.           export/import capabilities, automatic reminder of
  67.           upcoming birthdays and anniversaries (based on user
  68.           specified time period), business version with
  69.           special features for the office user, and increased
  70.           printing options.
